Manager’s Charter 

The aim of this document is to clearly lay out what is required and expected from every Wattsfield Youth FC team manager. 

As a team manager at Wattsfield Youth FC I agree to abide by the following.

CHILD WELFARE

  • • Ensure that CRC’s are kept up to date
  • • Attend and complete any courses which are required by the club and/or the FA
  • • Comply with all current safeguarding policies and codes of conduct. 
  • • Ensure that any assistants complete a CRC check and Safeguarding course.

ADMINISTRATION

  • • Ensure all players complete both the club and FA registration forms.
  • • Collect all Subs as set by the committee at the AGM by the required date.
  • • Not spend club funds without agreement from the committee officers, excluding referee fees.
  • • Claim all expenses and referee fees back directly from the club treasurer.

EQUIPMENT AND PITCHES

  • • Maintain all equipment in the best possible order and report any damaged equipment to the committee.
  • • Maintain and look after all pitches
  • • Keep all changing rooms/containers tidy. 
  • • Ensure teams kits are purchased in the club colours of blue and white. 
  • • Complete pitch inspections before matches and to cancel/postpone matches if the pitch is not playable.
  • • Check pitches after games/training – fill in with soil where necessary 

GENERAL 

  • • To attend monthly committee meetings or send a representative from your team.
  • • To invite the whole team to the annual presentation. 
  • • The U10 manager/s will be in charge of organising the annual fun day and running the U5 taster sessions. 
  • • Represent the club in a professional manner including on social media. 

Note – before setting up any new team, agreement must be received from the committee, a vote will be taken to confirm if the club can sustain any more teams.
