SECRETARY’S REPORT

I would like to offer my congratulations to all the players for their achievements during the season.  As always, many honours have been won by Wattsfield teams and you will find details of these further on in the Handbook.

On behalf of all the players involved in the Club, I would like to thank all the managers and their assistants for the hours of free time they give up to devote to matches and training sessions.  It is not only the managers and their assistants who put in hours of their own time for the Club, but several other Committee Members, and I would also like to thank them for their hard work and support.

Many thanks to everyone who helped out at the Junior Soccer Skills Fun Day on 17 May 2009.  It was a fantastic day and lots of fun was had by all who attended.  Well done to all of the children who earned themselves a certificate and badge, and to the winners of the penalty shoot-out competition.

Congratulations to everyone who won an award at the Senior Presentation Night at The Castle Green Hotel, and thanks to Andrew and Simon who helped on the door.  Also thanks to Mike who helped out at the Junior Presentation Night at Kendal Rugby Club.  Well done to all the junior players who won an award and a very big thank you to those who donated raffle prizes.  Thank you to everyone for my beautiful flowers.

I would like to wish all the managers and players continued success for next season.

Secretary
